Puckster’s New Hockey Teammate
Puckster’s First Hockey Tournament

by Lorna Schultz Nicholson
Illustrated by Kelly Findley
Tundra Books

Puckster loves playing hockey! He and his animal teammates on Team Canada have adventures on and off the ice as they make new friends, play in hockey tournaments, and have fun!

In Puckster’s New Hockey Teammate, Team Canada needs a new player. Puckster notices a panda playing street hockey outside the rink. Puckster invited him to join the team, but the panda can’t skate! Will Puckster and the team be able to teach him?

In Puckster’s First Hockey Tournament, Team Canada is playing in the Great Hockey Challenge! Most of the team prepares by eating healthy food, but Roly the goalie is eating pizza and fries, which make him sick. Will Team Canada still be able to take the gold?

Lorna Schultz Nicholson’s Puckster books are great fun for kids, even if they don’t play hockey! The books, with fabulous illustrations by Kelly Findley, encourage kids to eat healthy and work together—great lessons for your children! I really enjoyed these Puckster books and am looking forward to more.

If you like them as much as I do, check out Nicholson’s original story in the Jan/Feb issue of Jack and Jill!

Puckster’s New Hockey Teammate and Puckster’s First Hockey Tournament by Lorna Schultz Nicholson and illustrated by Kelly Findley are available now from Tundra Books.
